Acceptable Use Policy

What Sitrava may not be used for, and how we enforce it.

Purpose

Sitrava Secure is intended for legitimate privacy, cybersecurity and authorised connectivity purposes. This policy sets out activities that are prohibited on the service.

Prohibited activities

You must not use Sitrava to engage in, facilitate or attempt any of the following:

  • Hacking or unauthorised access to any system, account, network or data.
  • Distribution of malware, ransomware, spyware or other malicious software.
  • Phishing, credential theft or impersonation.
  • Fraud, payment fraud or identity theft.
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk communications.
  • Harassment, threats or abusive behaviour.
  • Child sexual exploitation material or activity of any kind.
  • Terrorist activity or violent extremism.
  • Copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property infringement.
  • Network attacks, denial-of-service attacks or botnet operation.
  • Scraping or automated collection that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Concealment of criminal activity or circumvention intended to prevent lawful detection.
  • Bypassing payment, identity-verification or safety controls without authorisation.
  • Circumventing workplace or corporate security policies without authorisation.
  • Use that disrupts, degrades or interferes with the service for other customers.
  • Any use that violates the laws of any applicable jurisdiction.

Investigation and enforcement

Sitrava may investigate credible abuse complaints; restrict or suspend accounts pending investigation; preserve information where legally required; respond to lawful requests; and terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations. Advance warning cannot always be provided where immediate action is necessary for security or legal reasons.
